About Us/ Your Instructors

Here at Oakwood we pride ourselves on our education and practical experience - continually furthing our knowledge to ensure you are receiving the best advice possible.

Accompanied by small classes 4-8 dogs per class and a large programme of training classes. We are the only full time dog trainers in the area running 6 days a week across two towns (Hull & Grimsby). We operate over 30 classes a week and if you train with us you can be assured of the best service around.

We even put our money where our mouth is and offer a full money back guarantee - no one else in the area dare offer this, if you are not happy by the second week of your training programme you can have a full refund no quibbles. Who else is so confident in the service they provide to offer this?

You can be sure you are receving the highest level of tuition, please see below for our current qualifications, of course along with this we have many years of dog training and handling experience to compliment our academic achievements.

We all have experience of many dogs and behavior problems - running our dog rescue over the last 2.5 years we have taken in, lived with and trained over 50 dogs with a variety of problems - so we know what it is like to live with a dog that barks, has problems with other dogs, bites people, cannot be left alone etc. How many trainers in the area have actually tackled the problems you experience first hand, it is all well and good telling you to follow a training programme but unless you have done it yourself you can have no idea what it is like to like with a dog with problems.

Both Gill and Nicky are continuing to further their skills and knowledge with more qualifications pending.
