Oakwood Canine Rescue Service
Oakwood Canine Rescue, Rehabilitation and Re-Homing Service.
Please help our work!!
Oakwood Canine Services now operate a rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming charity for dogs. We take in all dogs, including those with special needs or dogs who cannot be accomodated elsewhere, rehabilitate and re-home them. All dogs are cared for in foster homes. When they are rehomed they will be neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped. Vaccinations will be covered for the life of the dog (within the Vets4Pets Vaccination for Life Scheme) by the charity. Free training will be provided for the life of the dog (use is subject to availability and suitability). All of the above is subject to conditions.
We pay for vaccinations for the life of the dog (subject to conditions), we hope this will make our dogs more appealing to prospective owners.
We feel that the rescue and rehoming of dogs is more than just looking after their basic needs and as potential owners of rescue dogs we think you need more support than many rescues give, this is where we will differ from most.
Foster Carer Appeal
Are you a dedicated Dog lover? Can you provide a safe, loving and caring environment for one of our rescue dogs? Oakwood Canine Rescue Service is searching for temporary foster homes to look after rescue dogs until they are rehomed. We will provide you with a full support package that includes food, advice and any necessary veterinary attention.
If you think you have what it takes to care for one of our canine orphans, please give us a ring on 01482 823555.
Volunteers Needed
In order to continue with our work, we are looking for people who can help us to raise money to care for our rescue dogs. You could hold sponsored events like a walk or a run, or hold a coffee morning or a sponsored BBQ.
You could even put a collection tin at work or at your local pub - Anything you can think of to help us continue to rescue and rehome unwanted dogs.
