Stan arrived today. He came to us after being chained up in a garden for the past few years. He is being fostered by Chris and is looking for a home where he is the only dog or with a dog who will take charge (Stan will bully other dogs if he can get away with it, he is not aggressive), he likes his attention and cuddles. He is not keen on cats.

 

Travels well in a car, will crate with a few squeaks. Does need some obedience training as has not left the confines of his garden for some time. His coat was matted so we have had to shave it off and allow it to regrow.

 

So far he seems as though he would be fine in a home with children as he is fussy and charming. Given he has lived in a garden he may need some guidance on housetraining, but I'm sure Chris will have that in hand.
